Glyphs lets type designers draw, test, and export production fonts cleanly on macOS. It's macOS-native, type-design-focused, and deeply tuned for real font production. It's huge in type circles, but still under-the-radar outside them, the tool of choice for professional and semi-pro type designers. It's actively developed: the forum TOS names Glyphs GmbH, the news page shows Glyphs 3.4 (Oct 8, 2025) and 3.5 beta work (Feb 24, 2026), and it remains discussed in 2026 workshops.
